Galatasaray Travels to Konyaspor Aiming to Strengthen Turkish Super Lig Lead

Galatasaray heads to face Konyaspor on Friday to open round 10 of the Turkish Super Lig, with Okan Buruk's squad aiming to solidify their spot at the top of the table. Coming into the fixture, Galatasaray holds 22 points following a hard-fought Monday derby victory against Fenerbahce.

Recent Form and Standings

Galatasaray enters the match on a three-match winning streak across all competitions. Their latest success was a 2-1 triumph over Fenerbahce, driven by the clinical finishing of Victor Osimhen. Osimhen opened the scoring in the 29th minute after linking up with Baris Alper Yilmaz, and then extended the lead right before halftime by heading in an effort after Davinson Sanchez played the ball back toward the goal.

On the other side, Konyaspor enters round 10 positioned 14th in the standings with eight points. Ilhan Palut's team comes into the fixture after successfully halting a three-match winless run.
