A significant new infrastructure addition for the global Chabad-Lubavitch community in Crown Heights is rapidly nearing its final stages. Located directly behind the historic 770 Eastern Parkway headquarters, a brand-new Beis Medrash is scheduled to open its doors just in time for the upcoming Kinus Hashluchim.

Construction crews have pushed forward at an extraordinary pace over the past several weeks, transforming the site into a polished, functional environment for daily study and prayer.

Capacity and Design of the New Zal

The spacious new *Zal* has been engineered to accommodate a large gathering of community members. Designed to serve both *bachurim* (students) and *balabatim* (laymen), the facility features:

  • Space to comfortably seat over 300 individuals
  • A dedicated, expansive environment tailored for intensive Torah learning
  • A convenient location directly adjacent to the main 770 complex

Collaboration Behind the Project

The realization of this long-awaited development is the result of a coordinated effort among central Chabad institutions and community supporters. The project was brought to fruition through the joint backing and tireless efforts of:

  • Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch
  • Machne Israel
  • Agudas Chassidei Chabad
  • A dedicated group of individual benefactors and supporters

Looking Ahead to the Kinus Hashluchim

The debut of the new Beis Medrash marks a joyous milestone for the Crown Heights neighborhood and visiting delegates alike. With finishing touches currently underway, the space is set to welcome its first wave of regular learners and international visitors as the global gathering of Chabad emissaries approaches.
