The story centers around the ultimate gambling kingpin, Karim Musa (Sanjay Dutt), popularly known as Musa Bhai, a man blessed with miraculous, supernatural luck since infancy. Having conquered all conventional forms of gambling and smuggling, Musa creates a dark, highly elite international betting syndicate in Cape Town. His right-hand man, Lakhan Tamang (Danny Denzongpa), scours the globe to recruit individuals possessing extraordinary history of surviving impossible odds: Ram Mehra (Imran Khan), a desperate banker drowning in debt; Major Jabar Pratap Singh (Mithun Chakraborty), a bulletproof war veteran needing money for his wife's surgery; Shortcut (Chitrashi Rawat), a Pakistani camel racer; and Raghav (Ravi Kishan), a psychotic serial killer who miraculously survived the executioner's noose.
Staked against millions of dollars by global billionaires, these contestants are forced into a series of terrifying, lethal games of chance. From a brutal round of Russian Roulette and jumping from helicopters with unverified parachutes, to unlocking handcuffs in a sinking tank surrounded by bloodthirsty sharks, the body count rises rapidly. As the games intensify, Ram forms an alliance with the Major and falls for the mysterious Ayesha (Shruti Haasan), who harbors a deadly, vengeful secret of her own. With human lives treated as mere lottery tickets, the final round pushes the survivors into a explosive race against a speeding train and an ultimate, mind-bending face-off with Musa Bhai himself.
