Steve Martin & Diane Keaton in One of the Funniest Family Comedies of the '90s
202692 min
A proud father finally believes he has survived the chaos of his daughter's wedding and can enjoy a quiet family life. But just when everything seems to be settling down, an unexpected announcement changes his world once again—his daughter is expecting a baby.
Instead of becoming the relaxed grandfather he imagined, he finds himself facing another life-changing surprise when his wife reveals that she is pregnant too. Suddenly, George must prepare for fatherhood and grandfatherhood at the same time while trying to keep his family, finances, and sanity under control.
As preparations for the two new arrivals create one hilarious situation after another, family relationships are tested and George discovers that growing older doesn't necessarily mean life becomes quieter. Sometimes the biggest surprises arrive when you least expect them.
