THANK HEAVEN (2001)
Original Title: Thank Heaven
Starring: Matt Keeslar, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Gia Carides
Director: John Asher
Rating: PG-13
SYNOPSIS:
Ryan is a self-centered advertising executive who views relationships as disposable and commitment as a joke. His shallow lifestyle takes an unexpected turn when, after a mysterious incident, he gains the ability to hear women’s thoughts whenever they speak to him. What initially feels like a blessing quickly becomes overwhelming, exposing him to the insecurities, desires, and emotional truths he’s spent his life ignoring.
As Ryan navigates this strange new reality, he meets Holly, a grounded and sincere woman who challenges his worldview. For the first time, Ryan is forced to confront the emotional damage he causes and the emptiness beneath his charm. Through awkward encounters, heartfelt moments, and comedic chaos, he begins to change — learning that genuine connection requires more than clever words. Thank Heaven is a playful yet sincere romantic comedy about empathy, growth, and learning to truly listen.
