Canadian Space Agency astronaut Col. Jeremy Hansen, a crew member of the historic Artemis II mission, is set to share his experiences during an upcoming keynote presentation in Vancouver.

A Journey Beyond Earth

Hansen, who participated in the mission that sent humans on a lunar flyby, will discuss the rigorous training and planning required for deep-space exploration. The presentation, hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, aims to inspire attendees by highlighting the ambition required to achieve "moonshots." The event will feature personal insights from Hansen, accompanied by video and imagery captured during his time in space.

The talk is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westin Bayshore Grand Ballroom, located at 1601 Bayshore Dr.

Tickets are currently available through the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade website. Admission is $150 for members, $300 for non-members, and $99 for students.
