Manchester United's Poor Start Manchester United caretaker manager Michael Carrick has accepted responsibility for the team's dismal start to the season, but remains confident that they can turn things around. The Red Devils have made the worst start to a season in 40 years, with just one win from their opening six games. Carrick, who took over as interim manager after the departure of Erik ten Hag, has acknowledged that the team's performance has not been good enough. "We've not been good enough in the games we've played so far, and I take responsibility for that," Carrick said in a press conference ahead of their upcoming match against Bournemouth. "We need to improve, and we need to do it quickly." Despite the struggles, Carrick remains optimistic about the team's chances of a turnaround. "I'm confident that we can get back on track," he said. "We've got a good group of players, and we just need to get the right results on the pitch." The match against Bournemouth will be a crucial test for Carrick and his team, who will be looking to get their first win in the Premier League this season.
