The casualties occurred in separate incidents within the territory. In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, five officers belonging to the Hamas-run police force were killed in an attack. Concurrently, medical officials in Gaza City confirmed that three additional individuals, among them a minor, lost their lives in a separate strike.
The latest fatalities add to the ongoing toll in the region as conflict continues to impact both security personnel and civilians across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.
