The founders of the Rebellion Beer Company in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, have transferred control of the business to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) to protect its long-term future.

The founders implemented the employee ownership model amid broader economic uncertainty and recent closures across the brewing industry. Under the new structure, staff members will gain enhanced job security and a portion of company profits, while a management team composed of long-term employees gradually assumes operational control.

Coombes and Gloyens will remain involved with the business over the next few years to support the transition. Gloyens expressed satisfaction that the brewery's future in Marlow is secured, and Kerridge praised the move, describing the company as consistently "people first."
