The Pakistan military has introduced a man to the public whom it states was mistakenly identified by India as a militant killed in Kashmir.

The presentation was led by the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR). During the media briefing, the DG ISPR criticized Indian assertions regarding a "neutralized Pakistani terrorist" and questioned the reasoning behind those claims, asking why there was a need for such drama.

The ISPR chief also addressed and debunked reports circulated by Indian media outlets regarding the alleged killing of a former Pakistan Army official and statements concerning the supposed death of a Pakistani Special Services Group (SSG) officer during an operation. To counter these reports, the individual whom Indian authorities had wrongly claimed to be a killed militant appeared alongside the DG ISPR during the media presentation.

In addition to refuting the claims made by Indian media and officials, the ISPR chief highlighted that the fight against terrorism remains a priority for the military.
