Australian actor and filmmaker Rebel Wilson has won another legal battle in her homeland after a New South Wales supreme court judge dismissed a defamation and damages lawsuit brought against her by the co-producers of her directorial debut, The Deb.

Co-Producers Awarded Just $10 While Wilson Receives Nearly $400,000

Wilson denied the accusations and countersued, alleging the producers engaged in troubling patterns of illicit behavior, including theft, bullying, and sexual misconduct. On Friday, Justice Elisabeth Peden largely dismissed the producers' summons, awarding them a nominal $10 in damages. Meanwhile, the judge ruled in Wilson's favor on her countersuit, awarding her $359,000 plus interest, with a comprehensive written judgment to follow.

This ruling marks Wilson's second recent courtroom victory in Australia. Earlier this year, she was cleared of defaming the film's star, Charlotte MacInnes, during a federal court hearing concerning related social media posts.
