A Reform UK councillor has been formally charged with multiple serious offences, including rape and sexual assault, following an authorization by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) on Tuesday.
George Madgwick faces a total of 35 criminal charges. According to prosecutors, the allegations span a series of offences brought forward following a police investigation.
The legal proceedings will move forward through the court system as the case is prepared for trial.
