Aston Villa continued their return to winning form as Johan Manzambi secured a crucial victory against Newcastle United at Villa Park. The decisive moment came when Manzambi scored with a header, sealing all three points for Unai Emery's side.
The fixture carried extra significance for Manzambi, who previously turned down a move to Newcastle before ultimately choosing to join Aston Villa. His match-winning performance offered a direct glimpse of what the Tyneside club missed out on during his transfer recruitment.
Beyond securing the victory, the result marked a major milestone for the club, representing manager Unai Emery's 100th Premier League win.
