Showa American Story - Official Gameplay Trailer | gamescom 2026

Take a new look at Showa American Story, an upcoming RPG that is a loving homage to retro pop culture. The game is set in the 1980s, where a "dominant Japan culturally colonized America." You will play as Chigusa Choko, who was resurrected from the grave and must embark on a road trip of combat, expploration, and growth across a world "both absurd and strangely familiar." #IGN #Gaming #gamescom
