The Evolution of Marvel Fighting Games (1994 - 2026)

Marvel and video games: a long-storied and sometimes turbulent relationship! Spanning a variety of genres, Marvel games have taken us from the open worlds of Insomniac’s Spider-Man to the character-driven tales of Eidos Montreal's Guardians of the Galaxy, and true icons such as Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and more, but one genre that's always seen undeniable success has been fighting games. We've assembled an almost three-decade-long collection of twists, turns, smash hits, and fumbles, from Marvel Vs Capcom to Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, and other oddities in between. 00:00 - Intro 00:52 - X-Men: Children of The Atom 03:13 - Avengers in Galactic Storm 04:47 - X-Men Vs Street Fighter 07:02 - Marvel Vs Capcom: Clash of The Super Heroes 08:40 - Marvel Vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes 11:40 - Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds / Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 14:50 - Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite 17:56 - Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls 18:49 - Outro #IGN #MarvelFightingGames #MarvelTokon
