Ariana Grande is mourning the loss of her beloved dog, Coco, who has died at the age of 17. The Dachshund and German Shepherd mix passed away after spending nearly two decades by the singer's side.

A Heartbreaking Tribute

“I am so proud of you,” Grande wrote in her post. “Thank you for your love, and for blessing this planet with your physical presence for over seventeen wonderful years.”

Alongside the heartfelt message, the 33-year-old singer posted several photos and videos documenting Coco's life over the years. Memories shared included pictures of Coco standing on Grande's ballet slippers, cuddling with her owner, and celebrating a 17th-birthday milestone complete with a bone-shaped cake.

A Lifelong Companion

Coco became a part of Grande's life in 2010 during her time starring on the Nickelodeon series Victorious, remaining by her side throughout the majority of her professional music career. The pup achieved her own level of fame, making appearances in Grande's music videos for "Put Your Hearts Up" in 2011 and "Positions" in 2020, as well as early YouTube vlogs and an active social media presence.

“I will miss you every day and hold you in my heart always," Grande concluded in her tribute. "I love you so, sweet girl.”
