Elie Saab Brings Red Carpet Glamour to H&M
Elie Saab, the Lebanese designer behind some of Hollywood's most iconic red carpet looks, has collaborated with Swedish retailer H&M on a new collection of eveningwear, tailored separates, and accessories. The 55-piece collection, priced from $39.99, features embellished gowns, sequined blazers, lace separates, and faux-fur outerwear, all incorporating Saab's signature embroidery and intricate detailing.
The collection includes a range of pieces, from a $269 sequined bandeau dress to a $219 fluffy jacket and a $429 embellished bandeau dress. More affordable options include $89.99 blouses and a $39.99 floral choker. The collection also features menswear, handbags, and tailored evening jackets.
Saab's celebrity following includes A-listers such as Beyoncé, Zendaya, Halle Berry, and Angelina Jolie, who have all worn his designs on the red carpet. Berry, in particular, has a long history with Saab, wearing one of his designs to the 2002 Academy Awards, where she won Best Actress for "Monster's Ball." The designer's creations have also been featured in his 2024 anniversary celebration in Riyadh and at the New York premiere of Jay-Z's HBO Max docuseries "Jay-Z in 8."
"We are thrilled to announce this landmark collaboration with Elie Saab," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's creative advisor and head of design womenswear. "Mr. Saab is a designer we have always respected – the journey from master of bridalwear in Beirut to the centre of Paris fashion is an amazing, rich story and we are so excited to be exploring his world."
The Elie Saab x H&M collection is now available online and in select stores.
