LONDON — The U.K. version of “The Celebrity Traitors” concluded its second season on BBC iPlayer with an unexpected twist, as Faithfuls Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan secured a nail-biting victory.

During the tense Season 2 finale showdown, remaining Traitors King Kenny and Maya Jama were successfully banished from the game. The dramatic conclusion followed a series of pivotal roundtables, including James Acaster’s shocking admission that he had been secretly recruited as a Traitor, which dismantled the group's momentum. Traitor Maya Jama was subsequently ousted not long after murdered Faithful Michael Sheen deduced her identity.

The path to the finale also saw the exit of Faithful James Blunt, whose confident yet inaccurate accusations at the roundtable ultimately led to his eviction. Despite a turbulent season marked by early game-shaking departures—such as Richard E. Grant's immediate confession to being a Traitor in the opening episodes—the BBC series continued to draw massive audiences, pulling in an impressive 15 million viewers over the course of its run.
