Bondi Beach Shooting Survivor Dies Almost a Year After Attack
A 90-year-old woman who sustained serious leg injuries during the antisemitic terror attack at Bondi Beach has died in hospital, nearly 12 months after the tragedy.
Eva Geller was shot on December 14, 2025, during a Hanukkah celebration at Archer Park. Following the shooting, she experienced ongoing health complications and was repeatedly in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities over the past year.
Rabbi Aron Moss paid tribute to Ms Geller on Friday, highlighting her resilience and positive spirit despite doctors telling her she would never walk again. Originally from Hungary, Ms Geller survived the Holocaust with her mother and grandmother before immigrating to Australia to build her family. She recently attended holiday services at her synagogue, where she was welcomed warmly by the community.
