Husband who invited men to rape wife asked for online review, court told
A husband who invited other men to rape and sexually assault his wife arranged for "more and more individuals" to visit his marital home, as he sought to satisfy his own perversity, a jury has been told. The husband, who is in his 60s and from Stockport in Greater Manchester, has pleaded guilty to over 60 offences against his wife.
The court heard that the husband, who cannot be named to protect the anonymity of his victim, used online platforms to invite men to visit his home and engage in sexual acts with his wife. He even asked for reviews from the men who participated, indicating a level of organization and calculation in his actions.
The case is part of a larger trial involving nine men accused of either taking part in the abuse or encouraging offending on the internet. The husband's actions are a disturbing example of the exploitation and manipulation that can occur in such cases.
The trial is ongoing, with the husband's guilty pleas serving as a stark reminder of the severity of the crimes committed against his wife.
