Palestinians Prepare to Bury Remains of 105 People Killed in Gaza Air Strikes

Palestinians are preparing to lay to rest the remains of 105 individuals who were killed during an Israeli attack on Gaza. According to information provided by Gaza's civil defence, the deaths resulted from a series of intense Israeli air strikes.

The military operation involved the use of at least 20 bombs. This heavy bombardment completely leveled the seven-storey Al Taj 3 building and caused the destruction of several other residential structures situated in the Yarmouk Square neighborhood.

Gaza's civil defence highlighted that the recovery operation was notable in terms of the high number of bodies that were successfully retrieved from the wreckage of the destroyed buildings.

A funeral procession is scheduled to take place, where coffins containing the remains of the victims will be carried. Family members are set to participate in the procession to mourn and bury their loved ones, including relatives of those affected such as a resident whose sister's son was among the victims at the site.
