Veteran Broadcaster and Campaigner Dame Esther Rantzen Dies Aged 86

Dame Esther Rantzen, widely recognized as a broadcaster, campaigner, and charity founder, has died at the age of 86. Throughout her prominent television career, she served as the presenter of the BBC program That's Life! Her entry into broadcasting began when she took on the role of researcher and reporter for Bernard Braden's consumer affairs show, Braden's Week.

Following the announcement of her death, tributes emerged highlighting her public impact. The prime minister stated that he would consistently admire the characteristic courage and openness she displayed while speaking about her illness.
