The visiting president of the Maldives was officially welcomed at the Prime House in Islamabad with a guard of honour, marking the start of a multi-day diplomatic visit to Pakistan.
During the arrival ceremony, the Maldivian leader was received by Pakistani leadership. The three-day official visit includes high-level discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, reviewing mutual cooperation, and addressing transnational challenges such as organized crime and human trafficking.
Both nations are utilizing the visit to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration across multiple sectors before the conclusion of the scheduled itinerary.
