Alberta separatist Jeff Rath has been removed from the governing United Conservative Party (UCP), according to an internal communication issued by the party.

The decision to expel Rath followed actions and statements that led party leadership to conclude he was no longer aligned with the organization. In an email statement regarding the disciplinary measure, the UCP's executive director stated that Rath had "made clear" through his conduct that he did "not support" the party.

The development highlights ongoing internal political dynamics within Alberta's conservative movement regarding separatism and party alignment.
