Embattled Australian Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John has confirmed he will take leave from parliament and skip next week's sittings following the public disclosure of allegations against him.

Steele-John stated that he had previously considered participating in upcoming Senate estimates hearings virtually, but was informed that doing so would be deemed unacceptable.
