Strong winds swept through Prince George, British Columbia, and the surrounding region, bringing down trees, blocking roadways, and cutting power to local residents.
Residents shared numerous photos of the storm's impact across social media platforms. The widespread damage included fallen trees resting on top of residential homes and, in one location, a traffic light completely dislodged from its post.
Crews responded to the blocked roads and electrical disruptions as the community worked to assess the aftermath of the severe weather system.
