INEOS has enlisted the global consultancy firm Alvarez & Marsal to handle the sale of Swiss football team Lausanne-Sport, issuing a five-page sales prospectus to prospective investors. When contacted regarding the matter, INEOS declined to provide a comment.
The club is controlled by INEOS, a company that also holds a minority ownership stake in Premier League club Manchester United. During INEOS's period of oversight, Lausanne-Sport has experienced two promotions alongside two relegations, with a potential demotion this season marking a third drop under their watch.
Beyond its football operations, INEOS has recently divested other assets, including the household cleaning products brand and the fashion label Belstaff, as part of a broader effort involving various sporting exits and disposals.
