Questions regarding daytime television broadcasting schedules have emerged following sudden lineup alterations implemented by ITV.
ITV’s This Morning and Lorraine Kelly’s chat show Lorraine were pulled from their regular slots following a power outage at the studio.
The adjustments became public when the Scottish presenter shared a video update on Instagram early in the morning. While on the way to work, the host informed viewers and fans that plans for that day's episode had been aborted due to the power failure at the studio.
The situation highlights how unexpected technical issues can disrupt live television broadcasts, leading networks to alter their normal weekday schedules.
