SYDNEY — Riot police and paramedics were forced to shut down an out-of-control Halloween party at a $10 million coastal home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Friday night.
Crowds Spill Onto Clovelly Street
The influx of partygoers quickly spilled out onto the surrounding roadway. NSW Ambulance paramedics evaluated multiple intoxicated teenagers on the scene, with one teenage girl transported to Prince of Wales Hospital for further treatment.
Despite the large emergency response and heavily intoxicated youths, NSW Police confirmed that no arrests were made and no property damage occurred at the Clovelly address. Officers remained on the scene until the crowds fully dispersed.
In a separate incident overnight, police broke up another Halloween gathering on Charles Tompson Boulevard in Marsden Park, in Sydney's northwest. An 18-year-old man was stabbed during a fight, and a 17-year-old boy was subsequently arrested, charged with reckless wounding and drug possession, and refused bail.
