VATICAN CITY — The Vatican Press Office announced Wednesday evening that Pope Leo XIV does not require any additional treatment following his recent lung cancer surgery.

According to the Vatican, final histological examinations and molecular biology tests have been completed on the tissue removed during the Holy Father's procedure on October 13. The conclusive test results confirmed that no further medical interventions are needed for the Pontiff's recovery.

Pope Leo XIV recently greeted the faithful from the popemobile upon arriving for his weekly General Audience in St. Peter's Square, signaling a continued return to his public duties following the operation.
