The rape trial of comedian Russell Brand continued as jurors in the United Kingdom heard further testimony from a female complainant alleging she was raped by the entertainer at his home.
During the ongoing court proceedings, the jury was presented with additional details from the woman's account, including a photograph of Brand's bedroom. The complainant alleged that during the incident she "couldn't speak or breathe," told the court she "closed eyes and tried not to be there," and stated that Brand treated her like an animal. Testimony also indicated that Brand allegedly told her afterward to "clear up the mess you’ve made."
The legal proceedings remain active as the jury continues to hear evidence and witness testimony regarding the allegations against the comedian.
