A massive cyberattack has targeted the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, compromising hundreds of gigabytes of internal files, emails, and personal data, according to an analysis by RTL and n-tv.
Following the breach, the perpetrators published an index of the stolen material on a website, utilizing keyword summaries rather than immediately exposing full texts. However, downloading the complete data archive provided full access to the underlying documents. Analysts indicate that thoroughly evaluating the vast dataset will likely take several weeks.
