A 32-year-old Pooraka woman has been arrested following a series of alleged hit-run crashes and dangerous driving incidents across Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs.

The pursuit concluded around 12:20am when patrols responded to a head-on collision on Mann Road in North Adelaide. Officers quickly located the driver at the scene. According to police, the suspect physically resisted arrest by punching an officer multiple times and biting another on the finger. The responding officers sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the vehicle involved in the final head-on crash was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed the suspect is currently hospitalised and expected to face a string of charges once medically fit. Anticipated charges include three counts of driving without due care, three counts of dangerous speed, two counts of failing to stop at a crash scene, and aggravated assault against emergency workers.
