Archer Aviation Announces Texas Air Taxi Network

Archer Aviation has officially unveiled plans to launch an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) air taxi network across Texas. The company intends to establish operations connecting major metropolitan hubs, including Austin, Dallas, and Houston, to provide a faster alternative to traditional ground transportation.

Connecting Texas Cities

The proposed service aims to integrate with existing infrastructure, with specific routes planned to link Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). By utilizing electric aircraft, Archer seeks to reduce travel times significantly between these high-traffic urban centers, offering a sustainable aerial transit solution for commuters and travelers alike.

This expansion marks a significant step for Archer as it moves toward commercializing its electric aircraft technology in the United States. The company is currently working to coordinate with local stakeholders to establish the necessary vertiport infrastructure required to support regular flight operations across the state.
