Andy Woodman Departs League One Club Bromley After Five Years

Bromley manager Andy Woodman has left the League One club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. Woodman spent five years and seven months at the helm, marking the third-longest managerial tenure across all 92 clubs in the Premier League and English Football League, trailing only Arsenal's Mikel Arteta and Mansfield's Nigel Clough.

During his time in charge, Woodman managed 289 games, securing 123 victories for a win percentage of 42.6. Although he had two years remaining on his contract and was expected to lead the Ravens through their debut season in the third tier, the team has faced difficulties in League One.

Bromley currently sits in 23rd place in the league standings, holding a one-point margin above last-place Wigan Athletic following just two wins out of their first 10 matches. Despite the challenging start to the season and the departure, Woodman is recognized as a key figure who was fundamental to the club's recent achievements and elevation to these divisions.
