Indonesia Reduces Gas Exports to Singapore

Indonesia has reduced its pipeline natural gas exports to Singapore by approximately 9% as of Saturday. The reduction of 31 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) is aimed at diverting supply to the domestic power sector.

According to SKK Migas, Indonesia's upstream oil and gas regulator, the decrease in exports is part of a broader effort to meet the country's growing energy demands. The move is expected to impact Singapore, which relies heavily on imported gas for its energy needs.
