Everton did not release further specifics regarding the disciplinary matter. Grealish is currently spending the season on loan at Goodison Park from Premier League rivals Manchester City, having previously returned to the Toffees before the summer transfer window closed following an initial loan spell last year.
Before rejoining Everton, Grealish made substitute appearances for Manchester City in their Community Shield match against Arsenal in August and their opening-weekend Premier League victory over Bournemouth. Across all competitions this season, he has featured six times for Everton.
