Despite a wet start and grey skies that eventually cleared to high-teens temperatures, punters brought vibrant colour trackside. British pop star Robbie Williams headlined the entertainment with a 75-minute set, opening with his hit "Feel" before working through crowd-pleasers including "Rock DJ," "Angels," and "Let Me Entertain You." Ahead of his performance, Williams told media that Melbourne felt like his "spiritual home."

Victoria Racing Club chief executive Kylie Rogers noted that 60 per cent of general admission ticket holders across the carnival were under 35, highlighting the event's broader appeal in blending racing, fashion, food, wine, and music.

On the track, the main race concluded with Point of Law—a horse purchased from King Charles just months prior—securing victory as the favorite, finishing ahead of Zahrann, Juja Kibo, and Sons And Lovers.
