Victorinox Swiss Tool X Plus Ratchet Tested: Features 38 Functions
Gear review publication Treeline Review evaluated the Victorinox Swiss Tool X Plus Ratchet, highlighting its extensive capability of 38 tools and functions. Priced at an MSRP of $210, the Swiss Tool kit stands out as the most complete multi-tool tested by the publication, incorporating a separate micro ratchet and extension that allow users to drive hex and Torx bolts for specialized tasks like bike repairs and electronics work.
While earning high marks for versatility and value, the Victorinox kit ultimately fell behind the Leatherman ARC as the overall favorite due to the ARC's lighter footprint and easier one-handed tool access. Nonetheless, the Swiss Tool X Plus Ratchet remains recommended as a robust option to keep in a toolbox or garage for quick, comprehensive everyday fixes.
