A woman has been charged following an incident in Nottingham city centre where a police officer sustained a gunshot injury.
The confrontation occurred when the officer approached two individuals stationed at a bus stop within the city centre. During the interaction, the officer was shot and subsequently injured.
Authorities have since charged the female suspect in connection with the event as the investigation by Nottinghamshire Police continues.
