MANILA — Thomas Markle Jr., the estranged half-brother of the Duchess of Sussex, has been identified as a "person of interest" by authorities in the Philippines. The designation comes as part of an ongoing child sexual abuse image inquiry involving their father, Thomas Markle Sr.
During a press conference in Manila, Philippine Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla stated that there are "signs that point that the son is involved in the crime as well." However, officials clarified that Markle Jr. is not currently being treated as a formal suspect in the investigation.
The inquiry remains active as law enforcement officials in the Philippines continue to examine the allegations and gather evidence surrounding the case.
